Most middle-aged golfers can remember back to the days when golf clubs were handed down from father to son when dad got new clubs. Teenage golfers might find the lost sponsorship millions abstract in comparison to the ability to impress women with the fame and tournament money of the professional golfer. Aspiring to such a lofty goal means that the golfer needs to start at a very young age, just like Tiger Woods who was showing talent at the age of five and at fifteen he became the youngest person to every win the Junior U.S. tournament. He came from a well-off family so he had access to top golf courses in his native Florida using customized golf club sets to match his growing height.
