golf balls penta
Taylor made penta or pro v1 Golf Balls??

I currently use the regular pro v1(not pro v1x) and i really do like them but i feel im not geting the distance off my driver…the new t
TM penta looks to have spin for the greens and distance…so should i change????has anyone used the penta’s??

Honestly, there isn’t much difference, distance-wise, between any ball (the older Nike One Platinum was the lone exception, unless you had 100+ mph swing speed). It’s all about spin around the green.

Do this test (I tell everyone to do this): buy a sleeve of each, and take them to the green. Chip with each. If you see a difference, pick your ball. If not, go to 50 yards and pitch them. If you see a difference, make your choice. If not, go to 125 yards and hit approach shots. If you notice a difference, make your pick. If not, go to the tee and hit some drives. If you notice a difference, make your choice. If not, go to the green and putt. If one sounds better, of feels better off the face, make your pick. If you can’t tell a difference, go with the cheaper model.
