What’s the next best ball next to the Pro V1?
Wow! I played with the Pro V1 for the first time yesterday. I hit every fairway (but that was because of the driver) but the ball was the softest ball I’ve ever played with. From green to driver, wow!
Normally I play with the MaxFli Noodle Long and Soft or Titleist HVC Tour SF or Titleist Tour Prestige balls I get at Costco (supposedly they are dated but are still damn good), but I bought a box of Pro V1′s before a round of golf yesterday!
Loved them. Great feel on the green and soft off the driver.
Too expensive for my weekly golf game but hard to stay away from. On those ‘nicer’ golf course I’ll break them out, for now I need another alternative that is cheaper.
If you really love the feel of the Pro V-1 and the distance but want to save a few bucks why not give the Titleist NXT Tours out, They have alot of the same playing characteristics of the Pro V-1. A great 3 piece ball at a really good price, you can usually find them at Target and not have to pay full price like you would at a pro shop.
